Culinary Arts, Nutrition and Food Systems

Degree & Certificate Options

The culinary arts program provides service for several restaurants on campus, including an à la carte modern bistro. In this excellent learning environment, you’ll learn to care for and maintain a full-service kitchen.

Requirements:  All students must be 18 or older in order to attend the Culinary Arts Program, as one of the requirements is to have an OLCC Alcohol Service Permit along with a valid Oregon Food Handler's Card. Students are then required to obtain a "C" or better in practicum lab to continue on each term.

Note: in addition to the regular costs of college, students spend about $500 on uniforms, knives, shoes, books, and other equipment. Please wait until after the first day of class to purchase these items.
